ePTFE Membranes

Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membranes for precision venting, filtration, and sterile barrier applications. Precision die-cut to exact dimensions with adhesive backing options for easy peel-and-apply integration.

High-performance venting membranes engineered to protect critical automotive electronics from water, dust, and pressure imbalance. Our ePTFE allows air to pass while blocking liquids, prevents condensation and fogging, and withstands heat, oil, UV, and chemicals — supporting IP67, IP68, and IP69K/IPX9K protection. Higher MVTR grades available for applications demanding maximum moisture vapour transmission.

Key Properties

Water & Dust Protection

ePTFE membrane blocks liquid water and particulate ingress while maintaining continuous breathability for pressure equalisation.

Condensation Prevention

Microporous structure equalises pressure and prevents fogging in headlamps, ECUs, and sensor housings.

Automotive-Grade Durability

Withstands heat, oil, UV exposure, and chemical contaminants common in underhood and exterior automotive environments.

Applications of ePTFE Membranes

→ Digital Speedometers
→ Automotive Lighting
→ Electronic Speakers
→ Instrument Clusters
→ Automotive ECUs
→ EV Battery Vents
